Today the girls came home with a letter in their backpacks that has been highly anticipated. We found out our track assignments for the year-round calendar schedule, starting in July. We were granted our second choice, track #1. It was bittersweet because Amber was placed in a different track. The girls will not be in the same class, but at least they will be in school together about 26 weeks of the year. We actually like the schedule, with minor inconveniences. We are planning on going to Arkansas for our friend Matt's wedding, so the girls will miss two days of school in the first week. Other than that, we are happy to embrace the new change. I'm sure the first year will be an adjustment, but everyone that attends year-round already-- loves it. I have enclosed the school schedule in case you would like to take a peek. The girls are track #1 (the red track), starting school on July 9th. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to ask.
On a good note, the weather is so nice in the fall & spring when they have off...today is 69 and sunny. :)

Hey Jenn - This is a neat schedule. I have never seen a multi-track schedule. Growing up, we had trimesters - 3 months of school, one month off, 3 months on, one month off, etc. It was great! I loved it and much prefer that schedule. Although it did work much better in the desert where it never snows and rarely rains!
